My name is Hai Pham - ex-financial analyst, ex-investment banker, now coder. With six years of experience in financial analysis, dual degree MBA/MSBA, and CFA, I am skillful at employing financial modeling on forecasting and planning, deploying visualization tools on delivering presentations, and leveraging data analytics tools, such as SQL, Tableau, Python, Excel, in solving business problems.
I am pursuing STEM-designated MBA/M.S. in Business Analytics at the University of Notre Dame. I am interested in combining my diverse financial expertise with data analytics to come up with actionable insights and data-driven decisions. In addition to my previous full-time jobs, I worked as CFA tutor to coach young professionals on preparing for CFA exams and pursuing finance career. This part-time job gave me a great chance to build up the growing investment community in my home country and, most importantly, helped me fulfil my passion for sharing knowledge and helping other people, embracing “Pay it Forward” spirit.
I never stop exploring the world to see it from different perspectives, enriching my knowledge of diverse cultures and lives across countries and continents. Further, I have maintained my childlike enthusiasm for getting to know how and why things worked the way they did. These non-career interests not only help me achieve a balanced life but also inspire me to keep thinking outside the box.
